about

Next up on Real Balearic we are pleased to be (re) unearthing a real treat, "The Longest Day" from UK based Richard Adlam (aka Kinara).

Richard Adlam has worked on some of the biggest musical projects of the last decade, including two Grammy winning and seven Grammy nominated records. These include titles from Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Avicii, Jessie J and Iggy Azalea.

On this single, the slow-burn track "The Longest Day" immediately puts things into a horizontal perspective with its laid back vibe, moonwashed pads and relaxing electric piano. The original track featured on the Real Ibiza 10 compilation CD.

For the remix Russian based Kim and Buran up the tempo a notch and subtely add some layers of groove. Shimmering arps, subtle bongo, sundrenched guitar and a touch of real bass guitar drive this one along to great effect .
